Hi
Just to let you know (for those not on the Buzz), Jim is back in Northampton General Hospital.
He's currently in the Emergency Admissions Unit and should be moved to another ward later today.
I spoke to Jim yesterday as he was getting ready for the Ambulance to arrive.
He has Jaundice and was told by his GP he had to go straight into hospital to have a stent fitted, he doesn't know where.
He's still very chirpy and being his usual naughty self. _________________ In my world I'm normal
Pass on my best wishes to Jim whoever sees him next...My Poppie has made him a Picture - Think shes adopted him as her new grandad since the National Rally...
Has anyone got a contact number for him? could they pass it on to me.. Fankoooo!!
Just got home after visiting Jimbo. He's now on Creaton Ward and is in great spirits tormenting the nurses as usual. It brought back a few memories as Creaton was my ward when I worked at NGH. Poor old sod now has Gall Stones to add to his list. Jimhas got his mobile with him and is allowed to keep it switched on his number is 07703499401.
I'm going back up on Saturday and taking his lady friend June with me. _________________ In my world I'm normal
Just to update - Jim rang me this afternoon and left a message to say that he is being transferred to Leicester either today or tomorrow.. will update when I know more.
Latest update on Jim. He is due to have surgery on Tuesday to put a stent near his Liver to clear the Jaunduce. Once that has cleared there is talk of transfering him the The Royal Infirmary in Leicester to commence Chemotherapy. He sounds very down and would appreciate some of us calling or texting him. He's also very very fed up. _________________ In my world I'm normal
I have just spoken to Jim he thinks the op went ok today. He now has to wait for them to decide what next,he needs building up first before they keep him there or send him to Oxford for chemo. He sounded ok but fed up he asked me to tell everyone that he's ok.I only hope that it won't be too long before we see him again at the club.
just had a chat with jim.. said he was just back from his op, making the nurses laugh,, he said he has loads of text messages from everyone,, also was telling me about his stockings,,, it only hurts when he laughs,,, hope to see him soon xxxxxxxx love shaz and stu xxxxxx
