We are extremely proud to announce that we have a new member to join the HOC. At present the new member is 3.5mm tall, and is growing, healthily, in my womb!!!
Yes, as you now may have guessed, I am FINALLY pregnant, and we are both extremely excited!
At only 6 weeks gone, I was slightly reluctant to make the announcement as it is quite early, but aparrently the secret has been leaked to some members already, so I thought it best to make a formal annoucement.
Well, wish us luck, as it looks like we will be needing it!!
Thank you all for your well-wishes (and name suggestions).
As we may not make it on the ride this evening, we will see you all soon with the new baby measurements (almost a centimetre now!!! lol )
Have a good, safe ride, love Kaci n Scott
I am now 9 weeks pregnant, and its aparrently the size of a grape (about 2.5cm long... big grape!?!?!)
I have got a scan booked for the 4th June, so there will be pictures of a fuzzy black and white tv screen at the pub shortly after the holiday... hopefully my sickness with wear off before the holiday, so i can actually enjoy it!!
Just quickly, not that im trying to sound rude, but if anyone does know of any other new mums about who will have baby clothes being grown out of soon, I will be more than happy to take them off their hands.
Thanks again everyone for your well wishes and support, i really need it at the moment.
Take care, and I will update later on during my 'condition' haha!
it's lovely to read your update on baby's size and progress... exciting times!
If you are after baby things then it is well worth having a look at Freecycle... you can get all sorts of things from there... cots, prams, pushchairs, clothes, bedding... you name it.. I'm sure that over the coming months you will have lots of chance to start preparing for your bundle of love making their appearance.
Hope the sickness passes for you really soon - I used to find that having the occasional rich tea biscuit or dry cream cracker would help stave off that yukky nauseus feeling.
Looking forward to more updates as your 'condition' continues to develop! _________________ Jennie
Thanks Jennie, don't worry i have my country-wide connections for Freecycle already working hard for me in that department. Obviously somethings like bedding has to be bought new, and i am getting quite a lot from family and friends, i think its just the clothing thats going to be making a dent in the bank hahaha...
