Yes, I have been doing some research.
http://maps.google.com/maps/ms?cl...amp;spn=1.162896,2.672424&z=9

I suggest a stopover on Friday night at the Premier Inn in Fort William, £69 for a double room.
That'd only leave a 114 mile picturesque ride to the house on Saturday.

It does mean that Friday would be an early start and lots of boring motorway riding. We could stop for lunch in Cumbria perhaps.

I've been adding places of interest to the Google map

If anyone has more ideas, please let me know and I'll add them to the map  Very Happy

I could open the link last night from home, but I can't open it at work (I'm on a lunch break, honest gov  Laughing )

Had a play and "fixed" Stritchys link (I hope)

Lots of interest already so reserve your place now to avoid disappointment.
