Dead blackbird ( bike not bird...see phils topic )Evening all... As some of you may be aware, my beloved blackbird decided to play silly buggers and give me some grief.. At first i thought it was the alarm. Then after alot of phone calls to datatool and Grafton Honda in Milton Keynes ( the latter not being that forthcoming with help getting the bike to there premises but eager to take my money) i was getting somewhere, but Datatool were sure the problem was the bike, not the alarm. Start from the battery and work your way round. £63 later with a new battery...YIPPPPEEEEE, the dash lights up like a xmas tree, the engine turns over and it purrs like a kitten. I can now join you all again for some more ride-outs ( weather permitting). Unfortunately i cant make tomorrow ( 8/7 ) I just need to check that everything is charging as it should. Thanks for your concern and ideas. See you all next week.. Have a good ride-out tomorrow.
