Not a happy bunny :o(Well, I'm not a happy bunny.
Just 2 hours after posting my 'Happy Birthday' message to Sue on Friday 6th Feb I managed to be involved in a 5 vehicle crash (mine being at the front head on into a wall) and wrote my car (but thankfully not me) off.
Now, having had several visits to Dr and an xray at hospital, I have to go and get the old bonce checked out at some brain injury unit (hope they find it's still in there somewhere) and I can't ride a bike or even contemplate putting a lid on due to the whiplash injuries and nasty head stuff that's going on! 
However... I am hoping that when I am fully recovered I might have the means to purchase a bike all of my own (as opposed to borrowing one) and if that is the case would value any tips or advice as to what to get - bearing in mind I am on a restricted (33bhp) licence until September 2010 and have NO mechanical knowledge or skills whatsoever!
Anyway - (in case anyone noticed) this is why I've not been at the club since the quiz night and, sadly, I may not be coming along for a while now due to other circumstances beyond my control. 
Suffice it to say -I shall keep reading the forum and buzz and look forward to the next time I see everyone.
