Poorly Jim

Rang Jim today to find out why he hadn't made it to the 1st Everyotherrun - which we thought was great.
I got through on his mobile only to discover he is in hospital!
(Dryden Ward, N'pton General). Jim was rushed in last Friday with a blood clot on his lung though today was in remarkably good spirits - could have been due to the bevy of nurses around his bed!
He hopes to be discharged on Monday.

Looking forward to seeing you soon Jim.

Went over to see Jim this afternoon. He's in very good spirits as usual. Was there for about 3 hrs, during which I was offered numerous cups of tea and even more numerous doughnuts. (I settled for one of each)  He is going for another blood test tomorrow (Tuesday) and hopes to see everyone on Wednesday evening at the Ten O'Clock.
