Quiz & Chip Night - additional one?Just a suggestion - but - do you think it might be feasible to squeeze another quiz n chip night in during the summer months?
I was at Glen's 50th birthday bash on Sat night and we got chatting about it and how brilliant these nights are.
I'm not entirely sure I could do the quiz questions to the standards that previous ones have been done... so am asking, if another one IS fitted in, say, in June or July (one eve when not an EOR) ... that the usual reprobates, umm, I mean, quizmasters and organisers  would be willing to put one on again?
If not then I'd give it a go... but the current formula is so successful...
Oh, and I'd be happy to make another trophy!! (but it wouldn't involve knickers and sweeties this time!)

The 2 Quiz and Chip nights are during the colder months, during the Summer months we prefer to sit in the garden or go to places like the Air Museum in Sywell etc.

Without wishing to squash an idea, I do think that Sue might be right.
I don't think a very crowded, poorly ventilated room on a hot sticky night would be a tremendously pleasant experience.
But, hey, I might be wrong, so if you think it's a good plan, then go for it.

Have to admit I quite like the idea of one in the summer on a non run out evening, we could have it in the pub garden, not problem with space then and no Hot and Sticky bodies John
I would be more than happy to help out.
I know we normally have it just for the winter months but we could have an "Out Door Quiz n Chips Night" weather permitting obviously.

They are great fun, but I'm not sure when we could fit it in 
How about August 26th?
If the weather is hot we could have it outside, perhaps a BBQ as well

That might work.
We'd need somebody loud as questionmaster though, so that everybody would be able to hear the questions.

I am sure we can get someone with a nice booming voice, does sound fun though and love the idea of a BBQ as well.

26th August sounds good to me!!! - I was thinking of sourcing a very basic PA system (at no cost) for the quiz master / mistress to use as acoustically outdoors is naff - and definitely sitting outside if weather ok to do so. (Also means we won't run out of chairs as there is always rugs and the grass to plonk down on!)
Like the BBQ idea a lot but can see there may be a few probs with timing of food etc... (something that the chippy doesn't bring) BUT with proper organisation with Mike I'm sure it can be done!
(Alternatively we can always have a Saturday or Sunday ride out ending at the pub with a BBQ one afternoon...)
Whatever is decided - an outdoor quiz n chips night was the way I was thinking.. sorry... should've made that clear
