To the hillsSue ,Teresa, and I had a great day out last Sunday at Shelsley Walch Hillclimb. Just west of Worcester. Shelsley is the oldest continuas competition event in the country and the sight of
600hp single seaters going up a 12ft wide estate driveing at 143mph, with sparks flying off the chassis is an imspiring experience. the divercity of cars was incredable, the next car up was an A35,admittadly going a bit sideways ! Had a great ride back throught the Cotswolds with the summer sun setting on the Cotswold stone. But lucky I had remembered the old proverb of when riding under trees, make sure you have your visor down. As I
was lucky to get away unskathed ,after having a faceful of over hanging branch
Dick.
