W&N Air Ambulance - Rescue Ride Out 20/09/09Hey guys,Just wondered if any of your lot we're heading up for the ride out in support of Warwickshire & Northamptonshire Air Ambulance? http://www.wnaa.co.uk/Rescue_Ride_Out.html A couple of mates have had to pull out (one has done his knee in, the other had his gixer nicked) so I was looking for someone to tag along with. Apparently they've had about 500 bikers pre-register and they're expecting more on the day. Cheers, Alex |

Hi Alex, quite a few of us are doing the ride out. We are meeting at Mallory about 8am ish as several people are staying overnight nearer to the circuit.
No need for people to register as it can be done on the day. See you there. All members who are going could you please wear your club t-shirts. Sue x |

What a day it was yesterday on the Air Ambulance ride out! Great ride before stopping at Bruntingthorpe for a run down their 2 mile runway. (124 mph on 'arry complete with top-box). Then on to Mallory to see the racing. Best day's fun for a few years.  Mickey.

Absolutely fantastic day, the run down Bruntingthorpe runway left me grinning all day, in fact I still am
Well, doing 150mph on Rosie would do that 
(that was with full panniers too after a weeks touring but I did take the top box and Nicola off  )
Was just starting to get a small speed vibration but don't think I could have got more than a couple of mph extra anyway I know Kevin got 175ish on his Blackbird and Dan a miserly 140 on his Wing but did anyone else do the run and what speed did you manage, and also was that the bikes limit or did you bottle it? Sorry Adie, cant remember what you did on your Thriumph, 160ish I think edit : Just been googling and the top quoted speed for the ST1300 is 143mph wohooooooooooo I gone and beat that

Dan did 140 first time out with just him then when you had gone for a wee and just before we left they insisted on us doing it again this time with me on the back. Up against a Pan and a Bird. Left them both standing and hit 137, had sparks coming off the bars when Dan cornered to. I know he'd love to take his Blackbird round a track like that it dinoed at 192
