I listened to the forecast and it's spot on for the weekend. I returned all in one day yesterday....890 miles and I'm nackered and it rained often and lots.
   Hope you all have a super holiday and look forward to swapping stories and photos when you return...Ride safe all of you.

The holiday was superb. Sunshine and hot weather all week. Fantastic house and great hosts. We meet up with a group of ex pats I have met on the net  on the Wednesday and they led us on ro a lovely picnic then trip to a nice lake before heading onwards to a Buddist Temple in the middle of no where.
We even found an English Fish and Chip Shop in Dinan too, opposite the bestest Ice Cream parlour in the world.
All in all a brilliant holiday with no mishaps.

Thank you Sue for making a great trip possible even though I joined the ranks of escapees going over the wire early  Razz

Any news of how Danny got on on his Andorra / Barcelona mission ?

Just totted up what it all cost. In all it cost me £621. The breakdown is HOC room £80 cash spent £296 ( inflated because I went off and stayed with Battlefield Tours for 2 nights and in a Formule 1 for another 2 ) ferries £37 fuel £148 Formule 1 £60.
Ethel the Beemer clocked up 1500 miles using 141 litres, 28 gallons averaging 53 mpg.

I am now a European bike groupie with ideas of going to Thuringia in the old East Germany and Granada in Spain. Laughing
