Can't believe where this year has gone.. but it's gone!
If anyone's interested in having a blast at our now annual (well we did it the last 2 years) Christmas Bowling trip then please let me know!
Specifics are:
Wednesday December 9th 2009
AMF Bowling - Wellingborough (next door to Halfords... opposite Homebase ... and a few yards from the 24 hour Tesco just off the A45 junction for W'borough).
Meet in there at 7.30 - 7.45pm for a drink and to book in and get those delightful bowling shoes on ready to start at 8pm
I've got 5 lanes provisionally booked for 8pm start... £15.95 per person for 3 games and 2 drinks... or.. if we want (and you can let me know when paying deposit)... for an additional £5.00 each you can have a plate of nosh too! It's not top drawer grub but it's ok and it was fun last year! (They're giving us a deal on the price because I'm hoping that we have as many going this year as we did last!)
A minimum deposit of £5 per person is required by November 25th please.
If 30 of us go we get 1 freebie ticket which means the cost will come down to £15.50 approx each for the 3 games plus 2 drinks.
Usual thing... give me your name to begin with and then the dosh as and when... but it would be really helpful to have the full amount before the night if at all possible. 
Partners, family and friends are all welcome to join us... Beds branch are hoping to NOT get the Booby Prize this year.. it should be a great night!

excellent! I've got a good list on the go now... and look forward to more of you signing up ... if you can't / don't want to play but don't want to miss out on the fun then I'm more than happy to put your name down as a spectator - it's a shame for anyone to miss out on a good night out with everyone... after all ... it's not just about the bowling.. it's the company too

Hi folks
I could really do with your deposits for the bowling tonight if at all possible. I will be at the club but not sure for how long this evening.
Next week may be difficult for me to get to the club so if you can all do me a massive favour and
a) confirm if you are coming bowling /and if you want food too ,
b) pay your £5 minimum deposit
c) just generally help me get this organised coz my brain's not working as 'well' as it usually does! lol (I know - that's a clear invitation for lots of abuse!)

Deposits now paid to the Bowling alley - don't forget... get there for 7.30pm so we can start bowling at a reasonable hour... we have 4 lanes, 16 definites and 6 of us eating.. if anyone else wants to come along on the night then please feel free and we can add you to the group without worries..

Just a note to thank you all for coming to the bowling tonight and making it such a fun evening!
Great to see Whitey and his mate turn up to show their support too - excellent!
I'll send the pics to Stritchy and a brief word or three and hopefully your bowling skills (??) will be on display soon!
Congrats again to Teresa for winning top scorer!
Congrats too to the winning team, the losing team and, um... well... me for bringing up the rear in fine style! 
Another great Christmas bowling night gone again... pencil it in for next year! It'll be Wednesday December 8th! (Get it in the diaries now! ) You never know, I may just get another 'strike' by then! (If I practice!) |
